An apprenticeship is a real job with an employer and training included, which means you will be earning a wage while also attaining recognised qualifications. So as an apprentice you’ll get to work alongside experienced staff, gain job-specific skills, earn money and get holiday pay, as well as study with Connect towards a related qualification.

Fabrication and Welding - Intermediate

Fabrication and welding is a discipline which covers a wide range of occupational areas including: Welders, Platers, Sheet Metal Workers and Pipe Fitters. Fabricators are essential in all fields of engineering and manufacturing, and need to be able to work in all environments inside, outside and in some very special cases they may even have to work under water!

Fabrication and Welding - Advanced

The Welding and Fabrication Advanced Apprenticeship course is designed to give you the relevant training and education required to become a successful crafts person in the welding and fabrication industries.

ENGINEERING - Intermediate

Engineering is a discipline which covers a wide range of occupational areas. AIS Apprenticeships are available in Engineering Technical Support and Engineering Maintenance and Installation.

ENGINEERING - ADVANCED

Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship course is designed to give you the relevant training and education required to become a successful crafts person. AIS Engineering Advanced Apprenticeships are available in Engineering Technical Support and Engineering Maintenance.

Scaffolding Level 2

Scaffolding is a discipline which covers a wide range of occupational areas providing access for a range of trades in all aspects of industries including Construction, Industrial, Civils, rail, Offshore and the Energy Sectors.
